For The Kingdom (FTK) is a camp, conference, and retreat center set aside to represent God’s kingdom on Earth. We seek to be a place where God’s shalom resides and where all can find a place of prayer, adventure, laughter, bonding, unity, and retreat from the storms of life.
About Us
For The Kingdom is a non-profit organization that operates a camp and retreat center on a sprawling 100-acre campus. The foundational offerings For The Kingdom include our hospitality services and camp experiences for the youth. For The Kingdom provides high-class hospitality services and rental spaces for various events, including weddings, corporate retreats, board meetings, family reunions, and community meetings. We have a team of experienced event planners and staff who can cater to the needs of our guests and ensure their events are successful.
Through our Camp Memphis experience for the youth across Memphis, with a strong focus on the youth in the community of Raleigh. Our campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including ropes courses, rock walls, and zip lines that provide opportunities for children to challenge themselves, build their confidence, and make new friends.

For The Kingdom has expanded to focusing efforts on social responsibility of the community of Raleigh and Memphis. FTK has created a multitude of programs and initiatives that invests directly into families, children, seniors, schools, and the local economy in Raleigh. We believe in the power of community and the need to serve others as Christ would. Therefore, we continue to be a lighthouse of hope and a beacon of positivity in the community.
Feed The Block

Through our Feed The Block Services, we aim to build a community of food abundance along with directly addressing the issue of food insecurity within our community
Exodus Marketplace
Freestanding Meals and Grocery
Exodus Marketplace will be the first, free-standing marketplace in Raleigh that will provide residents with access to healthy foods directly from local farmers and producers.
LEAD Academy
Jobs and Training
Career Pathway initiative that focuses on offering apprenticeship programs, financial literacy education, and holistic development for the youth

Hospitality
Great For Retreats and Meetings
We offer luxury cabins and dormitories for lodging. The Grove Auditorium allows you to host your next meeting, family event, or conference in luxury and solitude. Host up to 300 people with tables, and 350 with chair only seating. A great wedding venue, too.

“What are the factors that contribute to young people having opportunities for a high quality of life in our community? This question fuels the vision & mission of For The Kingdom and resides at the heart of our daily decisions. As the largest agency in Raleigh we recognize it is not enough for us to pop up and offer a few weeks of camp in the summer. Our vision had to be expanded to effect change year round. FTK exists to provide for the basic human needs of our neighbors, while also providing development, hope and Christ-like love for all people through camps, retreats, adventures and live events.”
